Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Ann Arbor. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in Michigan are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.

Ann Arbor is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Ann Arbor follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Possibly the best bakery in the area? Unfortunately I can't upload a picture of the delicious treats I tried, because I ate them both in the car on the long drive home. I tried the chili scone and ube mochi bar. I wish I would have gotten more things to try and I'll be returning soon. This place had been on my radar for a long time but couldn't go unless I had a day off, because I start and end work outside of their business hours. Now I know - it's absolutely worth a special trip there.

Excellent cafe. Probably the best iced matcha Iβve had outside of Kyoto. Chili crisp scone is perfect and highly recommend breakfast bun. They have special sammies that I was too full to order and enjoy but they look amazing.

We used to live right across the street from Q Bakehouse and were regulars because we loved all of Rachelβs pastries, especially the chili crisp scone and breakfast galette. So when it came time to choose our wedding baker, it was an easy decision to go with her. Rachel made us a two-tier matcha jasmine and honey lavender cake, along with cupcakes in the same flavors. The flavors were incredible β so unique, perfectly balanced, and our guests couldnβt stop raving about them. She placed our cat cake topper beautifully, and the final look was simple, elegant, and exactly what we had hoped for. Rachel was also wonderful to work with throughout the process. Her communication was clear, she was organized, and everything came together seamlessly on the day of the wedding. Weβre so happy we chose Q Bakehouse and canβt recommend Rachel enough!

My first Yelp Elite event was at Q Bakehouse, and it was such a fun experience! The Mr. brought me along, and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Yelp events. The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, with a friendly crowd moving swiftly through the store. The setup at Q Bakehouse makes it easy to browse and shop quickly. Unfortunately, I couldnβt taste the cake due to my food allergies, but I did purchase a few items. The standout for me was the apple sodaβit tasted just like sparkling apple cider, and I'm already wishing I had bought more! π The service was great, with cheerful and accommodating staff who made the experience even better. The coffee was surprisingly delightful, even for someone who usually doesn't drink it. With an orange juice rim, ube syrup, oat milk, and a sprinkle of cinnamon, it was a game-changer for me. I also loved that they carry some of the ownerβs favorite childhood snacksβsuch a cool idea! I absolutely recommend visiting Q Bakehouse, even if youβre not a coffee drinker. Iβll definitely be back!

Got here right when they opened on a Saturday. Scrumptious and unique flavor profile. Korean inspired bake house. Black sesame loaf cake, chili crisp scone β€οΈ, pineapple bun. It's all good. Local cafe with global vibes. So good , expect a Q (worth it!) Bonus- strider coffee stop inside makes proper cortados and matcha lattes , latte artist!!
